Assembly Technician
Presque Isle, ME - Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Schedule: Full-Time/Days: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Mon-Fri. Full-Time/Evenings: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Mon-Fri. Full-Time/Nights:11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Sun-Thurs.
Payrate: $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
Job Description:
Immediate opening for an Assembly Technician in Presque Isle. This is a great entry-level opportunity for individuals with good hand-eye coordination, strong attention to detail, and a desire to learn new skills in a manufacturing environment. Previous manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required. Benefits available after the successful completion of introductory period.
The Assembly Technician will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality dental and medical implements using an assortment of specialized tools, equipment, and techniques. Employees will carefully follow written instructions, diagrams, and quality standards to ensure products are assembled accurately and consistently. Employee will work as part of a supportive production team to meet daily and weekly production goals while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Assemble items according to production guidelines.
  • Inspect product during and after assembly to ensure good craftsmanship.
  • Count and package finished product for storage and/or shipment.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures as directed.
  • Wear all required PPE in accordance with training guidelines.
  • Notify management of defective materials, equipment malfunctions, and/or safety incidents in a timely manner.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by shift supervisor.

Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent education required.
  • Good hand/eye coordination.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Drug screen and background check required.
