We are currently seeking a motivated Assembly Technician to join our Palmer manufacturing team. This role is hands-on and highly skilled, focused on fabricating and welding aircraft components and assemblies to exacting standards. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, works with precision, and values producing quality work that directly supports the aviation community.
Position Description: Assembly Technician
Position Summary: The Assembly Technician is a critical member of our team responsible for ensuring accuracy in parts assembly with a high attention to quality standards. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble sheet metal components using rivets, nut plates, and other hardware according to technical drawings
  • Maintain a high standard of quality in all builds
  • Work closely with the team to meet production schedules and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate hardware needs
  • Assist with general production tasks as needed

Experience and Skills:
  • Experience or interest in hands-on mechanical or assembly work
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality craftsmanship
  • Reliable and team-oriented with strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize, and solve problems independently
  • Comfortable using computers and basic Microsoft Office tools

Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods, climb ladders, reach overhead, climb stairs multiple times a day and lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
