A typical day for a Cpt Opt, or Captain Optometrist, involves conducting comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing visual and ocular health conditions, prescribing corrective lenses, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals for holistic patient care. In addition to patient consultations, you may manage documentation, maintain updated records, and occasionally participate in community vision screenings or continued education. The work environment is usually fast-paced and patient-focused, offering regular opportunities for skill development and advancement within the field.
