About the role
HealthFitness is seeking an energetic and passionate Group Fitness Instructor to join our team at a premier client site in Downtown Providence, RI! This part-time opportunity is perfect for fitness professionals looking to make an impact by leading one class per week and inspiring participants to reach their wellness goals.
Available teaching times:
Monday through Thursday | 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Responsible for providing fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit.
Minimum Requirements
  • Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
  • Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
  • 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test. The compensation range for this role is $30/class- $50/class. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
