Position Title
CPR/First Aid Instructor
Position Description
Lincoln Land Community College is seeking a qualified, part-time, non-benefited CPR/First Aid Instructor.
Instructors will be responsible for the following:
  • Prepare lesson plans, assignments and lecture as required for CPR/1st Aid certification.
  • Record daily attendance
  • Provide student feedback
  • 1 Instructor per 6 students for a four-hour session
  • Sessions are held as needed

The Paid Leave for All Workers Act allows part-time employees to earn 1 hour of PTO for every 40 hours worked. For more information on this benefit, please visit IL Department of Labor, PFLA Act.
Position Requirements
Instructors must meet the following requirements:
  • Both day and evening classes are available for part-time.
  • AHA BLS CPR provider card.
  • AHA instructor card.
  • Willingness to align with our training center through Chatham Fire Department.
  • Ability to communicate course material in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Ability to teach effectively in an adult learning environment.
