What is a certified pharmacy technician?

Certified Pharmacy Technicians (CPhT) are healthcare professionals who assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing customer service in pharmacies. They have passed a national certification exam, such as the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE) or the Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT).
