Job description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Experience range 8-12 years
- Knowledge of ISA95 / MESA standards
- Experience in MES implementation on any COTS tool like Apriso, Simatic IT, GE Proficy, SAP ME/MII, Rockwell, etc.
- Good understanding of business processes in one of the industries viz. Automotive, CPG, Chemical process, HiTech manufacturing, Medical devices
- Good understanding of Production, Quality, Inventory and Maintenance capabilities required for these industries
- Preferably good understanding of control systems automation and its integration with MES solution; experience integrating Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi
- Experience in translating business requirements to functional or technical solutions by mapping business processes to IT capabilities
- Experience in Fit-Gap assessment for MES functionalities
- Knowledge of preparing impact assessment for change management
- Ability to document and perform basic-level troubleshooting of MES application issues
- Familiarity with Agile framework and Industry 4.0
- Good analytical skills
- Experience in requirements gathering and documentation for Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM)
- Experience in functional design and design specification documentation for MES implementation
- Experience in testing/validation creating test scripts for SIT/UAT and functional validation
- Preferably integration experience with SAP, PLM & shop floor devices like DC tools, scanners, printers, lab instruments
- Experience with OPC tools such as Kepware
- Knowledge of basic queries with SQL/Oracle
Roles & Responsibilities
- Interact with customers to understand functional requirements and prepare the Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM)
- Prepare Functional Design and Functional Design Specification (FDS) documentation
- Prepare functional test scripts and conduct functional solution validation (SIT/UAT)
- Monitor and assess new technology and advances in technical/application architectures in line with client business strategy
- Take a lead role in the full life-cycle delivery of the MES solution for business projects from initial concept, requirements gathering, specification and design through delivery, acceptance and operational support
- Develop and optimize the application architecture
- Deliver high-quality implementation of the defined solution to facilitate realization of organizational benefits
- Impart user training on MES functionalities
Salary Range: $130,000 -$150,000 year
