WHO WE ARE
As pioneers of the seaweed category, we introduced the world's first line of Certified Organic and Non-GMO Project Verified roasted seaweed snacks in 2012 and have since grown to become the #1 selling, premium, organic seaweed-based snack - but our aspirations reach even further.
Led by founders and visionary food entrepreneurs Annie Chun and Steve Broad, we take great pride and care in creating delicious and convenient snacks inspired by our Korean heritage and believe that seaweed represents a sustainable path forward that nourishes people and the planet.
With our eyes focused on the future, we're on a mission to increase our impact by winning over a whole new generation of foodies. We are assembling a team of talented and driven individuals who are just as excited about the future of seaweed as we are!
Gimme was recognized by Inc. magazine in the 2025 & 2026 Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing private companies, achieving 183% growth over the past three years.
WHO YOU ARE
You are a commercially minded CPG sales leader who combines strong customer relationships with disciplined business management. You understand regional and independent grocery and natural accounts, know how to turn distribution and promotional opportunities into profitable growth, and are comfortable owning a sizable business.
You bring sound judgment to pricing, trade investment, forecasting, and joint account planning. You use syndicated and customer data to build persuasive selling stories, identify risks early, and focus resources on the opportunities with the greatest impact. You understand how to collaborate with sales brokers to set proper expectations, success measures and customer plans. Your ability to penetrate accounts and influence customers and brokers allows you to work with both category merchants and retailer senior leadership.
You are also a hands-on people leader who enjoys coaching talent and building bench strength. You thrive in a fast-growing environment, collaborate without ego, and create useful structure while staying flexible, practical, and close to the customer.
WHAT YOU DO
Net Sales and Profit Growth
  • Own the customer (and distributor where applicable) relationship and business results for an assigned portfolio of regional and independent grocery, natural, and specialty accounts.
  • Develop and execute account-specific plans that expand distribution, merchandising, shelf presence, sku velocities, and trial resulting in increased household penetration, topline sales and net profit.
  • Build trusted buyer and distributor relationships in order to lead effective customer meetings, line reviews, and joint business planning.
  • Identify emerging opportunities, customer and competitive trends, and translate those insights into clear opportunities, risks, and actions.

Commercial Planning & Execution
  • Deliver volume, net revenue, profitability, and trade-spend objectives for the assigned customer portfolio.
  • Negotiate pricing, assortment, promotions, and trade investment in partnership with Sales Strategy and within approved guardrails.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts, promotional calendars, customer plans, and performance updates; address gaps proactively.
  • Use customer, syndicated, and internal data to create compelling selling stories and improve account-level decisions.

Team Leadership & Talent Development
  • Establish a consistent operating rhythm for priorities, pipeline, forecasting, performance, and development conversations.
  • Model high ownership, customer focus, commercial discipline, and constructive cross-functional partnership.

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner closely with Sales Strategy, Category Leadership, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain to align plans and execute customer commitments.
  • Understand customer supply chains and identify joint value creation ideas.
  • Represent Gimme at customer meetings, trade shows, distributor events, and industry gatherings as needed.
  • Provide leadership with concise, fact-based updates on performance, outlook, decisions, and support required.

WHAT YOU BRING
  • Strong regional and independent grocery/natural account leadership
  • Commercial acumen across revenue, margin, pricing, promotion, and trade investment
  • Customer planning, negotiation, forecasting, and execution discipline
  • Data-informed storytelling using syndicated, customer, and internal performance data
  • People leadership, coaching, and talent-development capability
  • Clear communication and effective cross-functional influence
  • High ownership, adaptability, and sound judgment in a scaling organization
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly across the assigned region

YOUR EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of progressive CPG sales experience, including direct responsibility for grocery, natural, specialty, or independent retail accounts
  • Demonstrated success growing revenue, distribution, and account profitability within an assigned portfolio
  • Experience managing or developing sales professionals, or demonstrated readiness to assume formal people leadership
  • Strong working knowledge of trade promotion management, forecasting, and customer P&L fundamentals
  • Experience with syndicated data platforms such as Circana/IRI or Nielsen and standard CRM, planning, and trade-management tools (Promomash, Vividly, etc.)
