Job description

Position: Account Manager/Senior Account Manager

Reports To: Account Director

Location: Remote or hybrid in Austin, TX, or New York, NY

Work Hours: 9AM-5PM MST

ABOUT US

Interact Brands is a creative agency with a deep focus on consumer brands, specializing in creating meaningful and memorable brand identities that connect with culture and resonate in today’s marketplace. Our team is driven by collaboration, creativity, innovation, and impact, consistently pushing boundaries to bring out the best in our work and each other. We operate in a dynamic, flexible environment with a commitment to both remote and hybrid work.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for an Account Manager/Senior Account Manager who is organized, proactive, and genuinely energized by great creative work. You’ll be the connective tissue between our clients and our internal team — keeping projects on track, relationships strong, and the work at its highest quality. A strategic project leader, not just a keeper of timelines. You bring structure to ambiguity, solve problems proactively, and help clients and internal teams move forward with confidence.

CLIENT-FACING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as primary day-to-day contact for a portfolio of CPG clients across branding and packaging projects
  • Build trusted, consultative relationships that go beyond task management — you understand their business, their category, and their goals
  • Support client meetings, write clear recap reports and status updates, and keep all communication timely and tight
  • Managing project timelines and scheduling all client meetings, at least 2 weeks in advance
  • Present briefs, creative work and timelines with clarity and confidence
  • Manage expectations honestly — proactively flagging risks before they become problems
  • Support fee and timing negotiations with guidance from senior team members
  • Stay plugged into CPG and packaging trends to bring informed perspective to client conversations

INTERNAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own end-to-end project management for workstreams, from kick-off brief through final production files
  • Maintain internal project management systems and keep up to date (Figma boards, Monday.com, timelines, resourcing, etc.)
  • Schedule internal meetings, working through team conflicts when necessary
  • Partner closely with creative and strategy to deliver work that meets the brief and the budget
  • Contribute to new business pitches and presentations as needed

WHAT YOU BRING

  • +4 years of account management experience in a branding, design, or creative agency
  • Solid CPG experience, you understand the category, the clients, and the pace
  • Direct experience with packaging production
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication; you write clearly, present confidently, and follow up without being asked
  • A solutions-first mindset; you stay calm under pressure and figure it out
  • Comfort managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Low ego & high standards; you care about the work and the people doing it
  • Strong judgment and problem-solving skills - you anticipate challenges, think ahead, and help keep projects and relationships on track

KEYS TO SUCCESS

  • You think operationally and act proactively, not waiting for problems to surface.
  • You communicate with clarity across all levels and departments, from creatives to account leads to clients.
  • You are a calm, stabilizing presence in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities without losing accuracy.

SALARY

$70,000 - $110,000

Starting base salary depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
