Job Summary and Responsibilities

Join our team as a Clinical Pharmacist. This position provides a quality level of comprehensive clinical pharmaceutical services demonstrating sound judgment based upon knowledge and application of professional, departmental, and organizational principles and standards.  Demonstrates an ability to coordinate subordinate activities by providing direction and guidance concerning the operational activities of the department.

Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree

Required Licensure and Certifications

  • BLS-CPR
  • Active State Pharmacist License in good standing in the state in which the employee works

Preferred Licensure and Certifications

  • ACLS
  • One (1) year of hospital experience
  • PGY-1 or BCPS 

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training

  • Must possess strong knowledge of Pharmacy Services; knowledgeable and skilled in current practice concepts of pharmacy practice settings; strong knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and professional standards; strong project management skills; good strategic planning skills; strong change management skills; must demonstrate personal traits of a high level of motivation; team orientation; professionalism; trust; and place a high value on treating others with dignity and respect.
  • On-call may be needed in certain situations

Located in Lakewood, Colorado, St. Anthony Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center where we provide a full range of medical specialties and health care services to Denver and the surrounding region through our state-of-the-art medical campus and home base for Flight For Life Colorado. With four trauma rooms including the T-10 room, a dedicated field-to-surgery suite ready 24/7 for trauma surgeons and specially trained teams, our staff can provide life-saving care to the most severely ill and injured patients.
