MK VI Patrol Boat Instructor Strategos Consulting LLC – Coronado, CA Strategos Consulting is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), which identifies and provides usable solutions (consulting, services, training, and engineering) to the US Government and its partners. Strategos is comprised of professional training and educational specialists that collectively bring over 120 years of experience. In 2009, we created Strategos Training and Services, a professional training company focused on providing services, education, and training to United States military personnel. Strategos Training and Services specializes in non-personal support services, professional instruction, training analysis, training plan development, and curriculum development.
Strategos is seeking a MK VI Patrol Boat Instructor in pursuit of a government contract.
Performance Location: Naval Amphibious Base Coronado
Hours of Work: The contractor is expected to work a normal 40-hour week to provide support Monday to Friday during normal working hours of 0730-1630 hours daily with a one-hour unpaid lunch break. Qualifications: • Active SECRET clearance at time of proposal
• Possesses an active state driver’s license
• Physically fit (see Notes below)
• Proficient in reading and understanding technical drawings and schematics
• Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office, including MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Record of PQS qualifications in all CORIVFOR weapons and weapon systems
• Qualified Navy Second Class Swimmer or equivalent
• Four (4) years of documented small boat/craft tactical experience in a maritime environment with proficiency in: Maritime Navigation, Tactical Boat Operations, and Military decision-making processes (Begin, Arrange, Make, Complete, Issue, Supervise (BAMCIS); Organizational and individual planning; Tactical Boat Patrol Coordination; Development and issuance of Concept of Operations, Warning Order, Patrol Order, and Mission Debriefing
• Must possess at least one of the following qualifications (or equivalent):
• Navy Enlisted Code (NEC) (9502) 805A Instructor
• Navy NEC (9518) A12A Professional Development Instructor
• Completed Journeyman Instructor Training (JIT) or equivalent
• Additional Requirement: • Boat Captain and Coxswain instructors must have MK VI Patrol Boat qualification
• At least one of the instructors possesses U.S. Coast Guard 50 Ton (or higher) Captain License
• Copy of offeror's Longshoremen’s and Harbor Worker's Compensation Insurance
