JOB SUMMARY:
BrightWorks is looking for an energetic, customer-focused Community Coordinator to create an exceptional experience for our members and guests while driving the success of the location.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, building relationships, staying organized, and taking ownership of their work. From welcoming members and giving tours to managing events and keeping the space running smoothly, this person plays a key role in creating a vibrant, professional, and high-performing community.
Success in this role means building strong member relationships, maintaining a welcoming environment, achieving sales goals, and ensuring daily operations are executed consistently and independently.
Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, restaurants, front desk operations, or similar people-focused roles is highly valued. If you are dependable, motivated, and excited to grow with an organization, we would love to meet you.
JOB DUTIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Member & Guest Experience
  • Welcome members and guests and deliver an outstanding customer experience
  • Build strong relationships with members and create a positive community atmosphere
  • Respond to questions and resolve concerns professionally and promptly
  • Manage onboarding for new members and create a seamless experience

Sales & Growth
  • Respond to inquiries from prospective members and event clients
  • Conduct tours of the coworking space
  • Follow up consistently with leads and convert opportunities into memberships and bookings
  • Own sales activity and contribute toward occupancy, revenue, and membership goals
  • Track outreach and maintain accurate records within company systems

Events & Community Building
  • Coordinate networking events, workshops, and community programming
  • Manage event setup, vendor coordination, and day-of execution
  • Promote events and encourage member engagement

Operations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming workspace
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve operational issues
  • Manage supplies, scheduling, mail, and administrative responsibilities
  • Conduct regular walkthroughs to ensure the space is always member-ready
  • Take ownership of the day-to-day success and presentation of the location

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role has no supervisory responsibilities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, restaurants, front desk, sales, or a related field
  • Experience with sales, event coordination, community engagement, or customer retention is a plus but not required
  • Enjoys working with people and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Is dependable, punctual, and maintains a consistent onsite presence
  • Is comfortable working independently and taking ownership without direct daily supervision
  • Communicates professionally and confidently
  • Can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Is goal-oriented and motivated by achieving sales and occupancy targets
  • Learns new systems and technology quickly
  • Brings positive energy and contributes to a strong team culture

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS:
Employeewill be regularly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, and talk or hear. Employee will be frequently required to ascend/descend multiple flights of stairs, reach with hands or arms, and occasionally navigate uneven terrain by foot. Employees are occasionally required to sit or stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
