They consist of a curriculum designed to teach students through lectures, assignments, discussions, and assessments. Courses can be delivered in-person, online, or in a hybrid format, and they vary in length, complexity, and accreditation. Completing a course often results in a grade, certificate, or academic credit, depending on the provider and type of course.
