Regular Full-Time position with a minimum work week of 40 hours. Eligible for benefits and leave accrual.Child and Youth Services (CYS) Employee Childcare Fee applicable to employees working at least 15 hours per week:
- First Child: 100% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees)
- Second and Subsequent Child: 25% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees)

For positions in Child Development Facilities: The education must have been in child development, early childhood education, home economics (early childhood emphasis), elementary education, special education or other fields appropriate to the position to be filled such as directly related behavioral science.
OR one of the following:Combination of education and experience as stated below in Option 1 & 2:Option 1: A combination of education and experience:Education: 24 semester hours in the majors stated above or a related field (see above), plus appropriate experience.
Experience: Candidate must also possess
all of the following:
1. 12 months experience working in group programs with children/youth as well as demonstrated knowledge in theories and principals of child growth/youth development of which 6 months must be in a supervisory position.
2. The McCormick Credential.
OROption 2: A combination of education and experience:Education: 24 semester hours in the majors stated above or a related field (see above), plus appropriate experience.
Experience: Candidate must also possess
all of the following:
1. At least 12 months experience working in group programs with children/youth as well as demonstrated knowledge in theories and principals of child growth/youth development of which 12 months must be in a supervisory position.Education:Proof of education is required at the time of application.

General Education courses do not count toward the credit total.Please provide relevant transcripts to support your eligibility for the position. Note: Education must be directly related to the position to be filled (general psychology/sociology/counseling courses are not qualifying).
