Job description

Cobblestone Creek Country Club is excited to announce an opening for a Golf Course Maintenance position! Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.
Pay Rate: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
  • Must possess the ability to design, coordinate, and maintain landscaping on the golf course.
  • Experience with operating greens and fairway mowers preferred.
  • Must possess the ability to create spray programs for the golf course, including greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and landscaping.
  • Must possess the ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course operations.
  • Ability to give oral and written instructions.
  • Skilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching, and general ground preparation for restoration and renovation.
  • Must be dependable.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility.
  • Mows greens, aprons, fairways, roughs, tees, and other areas.
  • Waters tees, greens, and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water.
  • Repairs the irrigation system, pipes, and irrigation heads as needed.
  • Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod, and seeds greens, tees, and fairways.
  • Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds.
  • Applies pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to the golf course.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
