Job description

The Course Administrator (CA) provides all aspects of course support for USSF EPME courses. They integrate across the entire schoolhouse and ensure proper coordination with Registrars, IT, IA, and Security, ensuring students, faculty, and staff success. They are also involved in every stage of running a course, and provide daily administrative support to faculty, staff, and students.

The CA creates and implements scalable, efficient processes critical in the safe handling and delivery of courseware to all classrooms regardless of location. In addition, they develop methods for courseware delivery of all USSF EPME lessons & all courses conducted in-resident.


Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities

  • Reproduce course materials such as DVDs, checklists, student schedules, security agreements, and Space Pro reading list, for all courses.
  • Meet with the CDs to de-conflict course schedules and update schedules as needed
  • Upload all courseware materials for all levels of classification, including lessons, syllabus, and schedules on appropriate networks
  • Create and manage student master Alpha roster for each course and update as needed; provide copies to CD and students
  • Work with CD to resolve classroom issues and emergencies
  • Manage classroom set up; organize and ensure course material such as books, supplies, applications, electronic media, and directional signs are prepared and maintained in the classroom before course start date
  • Ensure classroom software, lessons, and Audio-Visual perform correctly and resolve issues as required before course start date; submit IT help desk ticket as needed
  • Destroy out-of-date course materials, IAW USSF Instructions and USSF EPME procedures and guidelines
  • Generate daily class schedules for students and faculty
  • Create schedule changes due to snow delays and non-routine events
  • Coordinate distribution of end-of-course survey cards and links
  • Coordinate transportation to offsite training locations as needed; notify CDs when transportation request is approved and maintain a copy for record-keeping
  • Coordinate mobile course administration with host sites ensuring course materials are accessible to instructors and students
  • Ensure classified mobile courseware is transported IAW Pelican case protocols, and confirm all courseware is loaded and verified before execution
  • Other duties as required

In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role $70,000 to $85,000; however, Sigmatech considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, experience, education/training, key skills, location, and often contractual requirements.

This is a contingent position at the time of this posting. Funding is expected NLT 1 Sep 26.
