JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for washing, cleaning and proper storage of all cooking utensils, china, equipment, flatware and glassware. Responsible for making sure that member and guest health is protected by always using the highest standards of cleanliness in all areas.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Wash all dishes, flatware, glassware pots, pans, cooking and serving utensils in dishwashing machine or by hand.
  2. Polish all silverware, platters and chafing dishes.
  3. Store all dishes and other wares in proper areas.
  4. Wash and polish all stainless steel in kitchen, including shelves, dish cabinets, ice machines, coffee area, refrigerators, walk-ins, etc.
  5. Wash or clean receiving area and trash areas.
  6. Collect trash from kitchen areas, empty garbage barrels, wash and re-line with new bags.
  7. Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
  8. Cleans dishwashing machine after each meal period.
  9. Assist in food preparation, putting away deliveries, and cleaning coolers, freezers and storage rooms as needed.
  10. Demonstrates a commitment to the work and success of the club and the Company by being service- and solution-oriented, having positive interactions with all club staff and members/guests, and meeting established quality, service and safety expectations.
  11. Performs additional assignments per the direction of club or Company managers.
  12. Regular and punctual attendance on site for all scheduled shifts is required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  2. Previous experience in food service preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Seeing and hearing: read documents, computer screen, answer phones, communicate in person 0-24%
  • Standing and walking 50-100%
  • Climbing, stooping, squatting and kneeling 50-75%
  • Dexterity: utilizing phone, typing, writing and Driving 0-24%
  • Lift in excess of 25 pounds 50-75%
