Job Title:Grounds Maintenance Department:KTP Grounds MaintenanceReports To:KTP Grounds Maintenance ManagerStatus: SeasonalAge:18 years or older
SUMMARY
The primary purpose of the Golf Course Grounds Maintenance is to keep our course greens looking great.. This is a seasonal position, reporting to the Golf Course Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain equipment
  • Spray the golf course
  • Perform upkeep of the golf greens
  • Mow and trim greens and grounds

KEY COMPETENCIES
  • Candidate should possess strong communication skills, high degree of integrity, positive attitude, attention to detail and the ability to solve problems
  • Candidate must be 18 years of age or older
  • Possess a current, valid driver's license
  • Candidate must be knowledgeable of golf and maintaining a golf course a plus
  • Golf cart maintenance knowledge a plus
  • Be available evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to operate and maintain tractors, mowers, trimmers used in daily golf course grooming including checking fluids, fueling, airing tires, adjustments, sharpening cutting units and reporting any problems to management
  • Knowledgeable on irrigation repair and installation, drainage installation, tree trimming, bunker repair, aerification and fertilizing the grounds
  • Apply fungicides, herbicides, insecticides, and liquid fertilizers, have knowledge of spray equipment and have good math skills. Team member should have an applicators certificate or be licensed by the PA Agriculture Department or be supervised by a license holder.
  • Change the cups on the greens being precise and aware of the positioning including the depth, straightness to be consistent thru all eighteen greens
  • Work in an outdoor environment in all types of weather and lift and transfer equipment/supplies as needed
  • Ability to move throughout the Resort as needed
