WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Greenskeeper 1/ Laborer, you will:
  • Perform routine golf course maintenance, including ranking bunkers, mowing greens, shoveling and operating light equipment.
  • Assist in various course upkeep activities, ensuring all work meets established standards.
  • Follow all safety protocols and golf course etiquette rules.
  • Report any damages, issues, with club facilities to supervisor.
  • Communicate job-related incidents to supervisor.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly service to members and guests.
  • Work efficiently with the team while also completing tasks independently.
  • Adhere to all Dormie Network policies and procedures.
  • Receive directions from assistant superintendent and perform assigned task(s) with limited supervision.
  • Assist in all other special projects and duties as assigned by DOA or other acting member of leadership.

WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for someone who:
  • Has Working knowledge of light equipment used for lawncare maintenance.
  • Has knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions while operating equipment.
  • Able to communicate effectively and maintain records.
  • Able to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Work independently in the absence of supervision
  • High school Diploma and or GED.
  • Golf course maintenance crew experience of at least 1-3 years.

ENVIRONMENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Prolonged periods standing and walking.
  • Able to walk and maneuver on uneven surface.
  • Able to bend, crouch, stretch, push, pull and move as needed to utilize machinery and equipment.
  • Must be able to visually inspect machinery, materials and course quality.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to drive local machinery, if licensed.
  • Able to communicate with others.
