The successful candidate will work onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Arlington, Virginia, a location chosen for its accessibility and commitment to patient-centered care. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to ensure comprehensive treatment approaches for our patients. • Conduct thorough evaluations by assessing patients' medical history, physical conditions, and individual therapy needs to formulate comprehensive treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation findings and planned treatment strategies to patients and their families, encouraging active participation in their rehabilitation goals.
• Implement a variety of evidence-based treatment protocols, modifying them as necessary to cater to the evolving health status of patients.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care, documenting any observed changes in patients' conditions and adapting care plans accordingly.
• Prepare detailed discharge plans and ensure follow-up arrangements are in place, providing a seamless transition for patients after therapy.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of patient encounters, progress notes, and treatment plans to facilitate seamless care continuity.
• Exceed productivity expectations through effective time management and scheduling, ensuring minimal delays for patient appointments.
• Participate in marketing initiatives and community outreach activities to promote the services of Tri-County Physical Therapy.

Our rehabilitation center offers specialized services to a broad range of patients, from post-surgical individuals to those recovering from chronic conditions or injuries. The diverse population we serve includes athletes, seniors, and individuals in need of post-operative rehabilitation. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing the quality of life for our patients through targeted interventions and compassionate care.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of Virginia or eligibility for licensure.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development and ongoing education in the field of physical therapy.

While prior work experience is not required, any hands-on experience, internships, or observational hours in a clinical setting will be viewed favorably. Candidates with strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to patient care will thrive in our environment.
