Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, allowing for a personal and interactive approach to therapy. As a home care provider, you will visit patients in their residences, creating a comfortable atmosphere tailored to their needs. Your work hours will generally be scheduled Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week, providing a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Evaluate and assess patients referred by physicians to develop tailored treatment programs.
• Implement evidence-based interventions designed to meet each patient's unique recovery goals.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with patients and their families.
• Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes through integrated care approaches.
• Administer therapeutic techniques both in-person and through teletherapy when necessary.
• Consistently consult with and educate patients and caregivers about treatment processes and expected outcomes.
• Achieve performance metrics and utilization goals contributing to the practice's overall success.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will touch the lives of a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, pediatric patients, and individuals requiring neurologic rehabilitation. By engaging with various conditions, you will have the opportunity to utilize a multitude of treatment methodologies, tailoring your approach to each patient’s demographics and individual needs.

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, recognized by APTA or CAPTE.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for patient interactions and documentation.
• Proficiency in word processing and general computer skills to maintain patient records and treatment plans.
• Ability to establish meaningful connections with patients and motivate them to achieve their functional goals.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have experience working in orthopedic physical therapy, though we welcome applicants from various physical therapy backgrounds. Familiarity with community outreach and patient education is highly advantageous, as is a track record of collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits

Tri-County Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to financial compensation, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
