Responsibilities
Responsibilities for Registered Nurse Educator:
  • Develops and implements an effective staff education program, coordinating individualized orientation and continuing education for all nursing staff
  • Tracks and trends statistical information to ensure ongoing competence and clinical competency of nursing personnel
  • Collaborates with nursing administration and compliance teams to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and facility policies
  • Facilitates training affiliation agreements with local nursing schools and develops, reviews and revises policies as required
  • Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in the field through ongoing education and attending meetings and conference as assigned

Qualifications
Qualifications for Registered Nurse Educator:
  • Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing or other healthcare related field
  • Must have at least 2 years of post-licensure clinical nursing experience
  • Must have and maintain a current, unrestricted license to practice as an RN in the state of FL
  • Valid CPR certification
