Job description

Teen & Theater Arts Coordinator
Boys & Girls Clubs of Skagit County โ€“ Concrete
$21.75 โ€“ $23.07 per hour, plus $2.00/hour Concrete site differential

There's something powerful about a stage. It's where confidence is built, voices are discovered, and stories come to life. In a small rural community like Concrete, those opportunities matter even more.

We're looking for someone who truly loves the full process of bringing a production to life. From the first spark of an idea to rehearsals, set design, and final performance, you see the magic in every step and want to share that experience with young people.

In this role, you'll lead engaging theater arts programming for teens, creating a space where they can explore creativity, take risks, and build confidence. You'll guide them through acting, improvisation, and performance while helping them understand what it takes behind the scenes to make it all happen. Whether it's coordinating a showcase or supporting a teen into their first role, your work will leave a lasting impact.

This isn't just about theater-it's about connection, belonging, and access. You'll help create a safe, inclusive, and energizing environment where young people feel seen, supported, and inspired to express themselves, while working alongside a team that values collaboration, creativity, and fun.

We're looking for someone who brings passion, creativity, and a sense of joy to their work, can stay organized behind the scenes, and adapt as needed to support the program and the broader Club, with opportunities to grow their skills over time.

This is a part-time position, typically Monday through Friday during after-school hours, with additional hours available in the summer.

If you believe in the power of the arts to change lives-and want to help bring that experience to youth in Concrete-we'd love to see what you can create.
