WHO WE ARE

Since 1922, Westchester Country Club is an exclusive family-oriented private club located in Rye, New York. Westchester Country Club is among the top country clubs and proudly designated as a Platinum Club of America, ranking #29 out of the top 150 country clubs in the United States.

With over 1,600 members, Westchester Country Club offers world-class facilities including the main club property and the beach club on the Long Island Sound. Club members enjoy two championship golf courses and a 9-hole executive course, comprehensive tennis and squash facilities, various dining options, an on-site fitness facility and indoor pool, and other specialized amenities. Westchester Country Club also has two large banquet rooms, conference facilities, member apartments, and guest accommodations.

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a Seasonal Security Gatehouse Officer for our Beach Club location. We are offering seasonal full-time, seasonal part-time and seasonal per diem positions, for the period of May 2026 to September 2026.

The Security Gatehouse Officer is to provide a safe and secure environment for members, guests, and employees of the Westchester Country Club Beach Club. This goal will be accomplished by providing professional and courteous service to satisfy the needs of all members and guests which include screening all individuals who enter the Beach Club, Guest policy enforcement, and other club policies and procedures.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Security Gatehouse Officer must complete all tasks and assignments assigned by the Security Operations Supervisor including but not limited to:

  • Provide welcoming customer service. Must be able to communicate & interact professionally with members & guests.
  • Computer literacy required (Tablet), Member/Guest check in software.
  • Scan all member parking sticker bar codes to verify their name and audit number, and accompanying family members. Charge appropriate guest fees and document information.
  • Follow all club Standard Operating Procedures, safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Provide assistance to all members, employees, and guests while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
  • Perform other duties as requested by Supervisors
  • Must be flexible to meet scheduling needs including weekends and holidays, and special events such as 4th of July fireworks.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Outdoor beach club gatehouse post with frequent standing to greet members & guests.

PAY RANGE

$17.00-$19.00 hourly compensation, commensurate with experience.
