Position Summary:
The Counter Sales Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, and supporting customers with product selection and technical assistance at the sales counter. This role serves as a key point of contact for walk-in customers, contractors, and commercial clients, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and a positive customer experience. The Counter Sales Representative supports store operations while contributing to revenue growth and inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers promptly and provide exceptional service.
  • Assist customers with product selection, technical questions, and recommendations to meet their project needs.
  • Process sales transactions accurately, including invoicing, payments, returns, and order entry.
  • Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment for walk-in customers and phone orders.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge to effectively communicate features, applications, and benefits.
  • Support inventory management by stocking shelves, monitoring product levels, and communicating low-stock items.
  • Assist with receiving freight, organizing inventory, and maintaining an orderly and customer-friendly store environment.
