Description:

Responsible for providing a superior customer service experience to all walk-in customers.

  1. In-Person Sales: Provide immediate, high-quality service to all walk-in retail and wholesale customers.
  2. Parts Identification: Use inventory software to help customers find exact matches for their vehicles with the vehicles on-site.
  3. Sales: Actively manage the front counter area, processing cash and credit transactions using POS systems.
  4. Yard Coordination: Communicate directly with parts pullers to retrieve parts for customers that want the company to pull their parts for them
  5. Merchandising & Displays: Set up and maintain physical displays of popular parts (e.g., batteries, fluids, tools) to drive impulse sales.
  6. Core & Returns Management: Inspect physical parts returned by walk-in customers to verify condition and process credits or warranty claims
  7. Assumes other duties as assigned
Requirements:

Basic Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • To perform this job this job successfully, an individual must have a strong customer service background.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively.
  • High School or G.E.D. Equivalent preferred. College coursework desired.
  • Prior automotive experience and knowledge of automotive parts preferred.
  • Two to three years of prior customer service relations preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to establish priorities and demonstrate effective time-management skills.
  • Must be able to work in a team oriented environment.
  • Must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with others.
