The Parts Counterperson Assistant supports the parts department by helping ensure timely, accurate parts availability for service operations and customers. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and eager to learn. Automotive experience is helpful.
What You'll Do
  • Assist the parts department by locating and providing the correct parts quickly and accurately
  • Receive, stock, and organize inventory to maintain an efficient parts area
  • Help process parts orders, returns, and exchanges
  • Support inventory control and assist with stock management and counts
  • Coordinate with service advisors and technicians to ensure parts availability
  • Maintain familiarity with parts policies, return procedures, and ordering systems
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations
  • Assist with parts deliveries and receiving as needed
Qualifications
Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to learn new processes and systems quickly
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and perform physical job duties
