This position primarily offers a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility while you balance your work and personal life. However, when required, you may also spend time at our outpatient office in Galveston, Texas, interacting with fellow team members and clients. As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Well Span Health Network, you will hold significant responsibilities that directly impact our clients’ recovery and wellness. Your daily tasks will include:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: Conducting engaging group therapy sessions where young adults can share their experiences, foster connections, and learn valuable coping mechanisms from one another.

• Providing Individual Therapy: Offering personalized counseling sessions that allow clients to explore their emotional landscapes, develop insights, and create actionable plans for improvement.

• Creating Treatment Plans: Collaborating with clients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs, ensuring they are both realistic and goal-oriented.

• Monitoring Progress: Employing various assessment tools and feedback methods to evaluate clients' progress and modify treatment approaches as necessary.

• Team Collaboration: Engaging with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, ensuring seamless communication, coordination of care, and collaboration on more complex cases to maximize client outcomes.

Your primary focus will be on young adults ages 18 to 30 struggling with a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. This population requires a counselor who not only understands their unique context but also possesses innovative strategies to engage and motivate them through their recovery journey.

Candidates must hold a valid license as a Professional Counselor in Texas. A Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required, along with relevant clinical training or experience in mental health counseling. Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic approaches is essential for success in this role.
