• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ mental health needs, setting the foundation for personalized treatment plans.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that address specific challenges and client goals, integrating evidence-based practices tailored to each person’s unique circumstances.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic methodologies to foster a supportive and healing atmosphere.
• Collaborate regularly with other treatment team members, including psychiatrists and case managers, to ensure a cohesive and integrative approach to client care.
• Educate and engage clients’ families in the therapeutic process, providing them with the necessary tools to support their loved ones’ recovery.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in compliance with ethical guidelines and regulatory standards.

At Optima Care Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families coping with various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Our clients come from varied backgrounds and socio-economic conditions, offering therapists the chance to enhance their cultural competence and develop robust therapeutic relationships.

• Current and valid licensure as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in mental health counseling, demonstrated through specialized training or extensive experience.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices for addressing a variety of mental health disorders.
• Strong therapeutic and counseling skills, capable of establishing solid rapport and motivating clients through their recovery process.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, essential for working within a multidisciplinary team.

• Experience providing mental health counseling through telehealth platforms.
• Background working with diverse populations, particularly in community health settings.
• Demonstrated history of implementing evidence-based treatment protocols effectively.
