About The Opportunity
Menasha Corporation is advancing a modern, AI-enabled digital operations ecosystem across Menasha Packaging Company and ORBIS Corporation. As a Senior SAP Functional Analyst - SAP Finance (Costing Focus), you will play a lead role in designing, governing, and optimizing product costing and profitability processes across SAP S/4HANA and ECC 6.0.
This role is centered on Product Costing and Controlling (CO), with responsibility for ensuring accurate standard costs, reliable cost rollups, and meaningful margin insights across manufacturing operations. You will partner closely with Finance and Operations leaders to deliver scalable costing frameworks, improve cost transparency, and drive data-driven decision-making across the enterprise.
While the primary focus is Costing and CO, you will also ensure alignment and integration with core Finance (AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets) processes.
Essential Job Functions
Product and Solution Delivery
  • Lead delivery of enhancements and mid-size initiatives across SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) using an agile, product-centric approach.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, system designs, and acceptance criteria.
  • Drive end-to-end finance process design (As-Is/To-Be) across:
    • Accounts Payable (AP)
    • Accounts Receivable (AR)
    • General Ledger (GL)
    • Fixed Assets (AA)
    • Controlling (CO)
  • Configure and support SAP functionality including:
    • Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
    • Internal Orders
    • Product Costing (standard costing, CK11N/CK40N/CK24)
    • Profitability Analysis (Margin Analysis and Cost-Based CO-PA)
    • Profit Center Accounting
  • Ensure seamless integration across FI, CO, MM, PP, and SD modules.

Innovation, AI, and Continuous Improvement
  • Leverage SAP Joule and AI-enabled tools to improve financial insights, automate allocations, and enhance forecasting.
  • Identify opportunities to standardize finance processes, reduce manual effort, and improve close cycle efficiency.
  • Drive adoption of S/4HANA Finance best practices, including Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and real-time profitability reporting.
  • Partner with analytics teams to enable advanced financial reporting and margin visibility.

Operational Excellence and Support
  • Provide expert Level 1 and 2 support across financial and controlling processes.
  • Support month-end and year-end close, including:
    • Cost rollups and releases
    • Allocations and settlements
    • Variance analysis
    • Profitability reporting
  • Troubleshoot issues across:
    • Costing (CK40N / CK24 inconsistencies)
    • FI/CO integration (MM, SD, PP postings)
    • Document and reconciliation issues
  • Participate in HyperCare support for major deployments and cost roll cycles.

Governance, Quality, and Security
  • Ensure solutions comply with internal controls, audit requirements, and SAP best practices.
  • Lead unit testing, integration testing, and UAT cycles with Finance stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong documentation of process flows, configurations, and controls.
  • Support enterprise change management and governance standards.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 5+ years of SAP experience across FI and CO (ECC and/or S/4HANA).
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Core Finance (AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets)
    • Product Costing (standard cost development and cost rollups)
    • Profitability Analysis (Margin Analysis and/or Cost-Based CO-PA)
    • Period-end close processes
  • Deep understanding of integration across FI, CO, MM, PP, and SD.
  • Experience in manufacturing or costing-driven environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with S/4HANA Finance and Universal Journal (ACDOCA).
  • Strong background in standard costing and multi-plant environments.
  • Experience with intercompany and cross-plant costing scenarios.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • CK40N mass costing runs
    • Settlement and allocation cycles
    • Margin Analysis (account-based CO-PA)
  • SAP certification in FI/CO or S/4 Finance.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled tools and financial analytics platforms.

Working Environment
  • Primarily office-based with strong interaction with Finance and Operations.
  • Occasional support during key business cycles (e.g., close, costing runs).
