This role serves as the liaison to Product Development, Design, and Merchandising for cost data, while analyzing trends and identifying key cost drivers.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead cross-functional seasonal costing meetings with Product Development, Design, Merchandising, and Materials teams.
  • Lead cost negotiations and finalization with factory management teams.
  • Provide product cost estimates from CADs or sketches to guide Design on cost-effective solutions before sampling begins.
  • Validate Cost Breakdown Sheets and approve FOB costs.
  • Maintain internal costing systems, including shared Excel files, PLM, and RLM, to support key milestones and ad hoc needs.
  • Create and maintain divisional master data files containing all costing and production order data for the Accessories division.
  • Analyze master data at both detailed and aggregate levels to identify order trends by dollars, units, factory, country of origin, and production category, supporting factory allocation and diversification strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to develop formulas and tools that streamline data management processes.
  • Manage one direct report.

You'll Need to Have:

  • 5-10 years of experience in product costing and gross margin analysis within a large or mid-sized company.
  • Strong knowledge of Accessories cost breakdown sheets, manufacturing accounting processes, and key cost drivers.
  • Strong knowledge of Accessories customs import duty classifications.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to build analytical tools, use complex formulas and macros, structure documents, and conduct executive-level data analysis.
  • Ability to estimate Accessories costs from sketches or CADs.
  • Expertise in identifying cost drivers and recommending cost opportunities.
  • Strong situational leadership and communication skills across various audiences and stakeholder groups, including Design, management, and factories.

We'd Love to See:

  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial and operational information clearly to all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in PLM, RLM, and Tableau.
