Position Summary

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) provides visionary leadership and executive oversight for all operations of Ariel Clinical Services. This role is responsible for advancing organizational strategy, ensuring high-quality service delivery, stewarding financial and administrative functions, and cultivating a mission-driven culture. The CEO serves as the primary liaison to the Board of Directors and represents Ariel to employees, clients, funders, and community partners. The CEO leads long-term strategic planning, drives organizational sustainability, ensures regulatory compliance, and fosters strong, collaborative teams that support the agencyโ€™s mission and values.

Requirements:

Required Education & Experience

โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a minimum of thirty semester credits or equivalent quarter credits in the social or behavioral sciences.

โ€ข A minimum of five yearsโ€™ full-time or equivalent part-time work experience in an administrative capacity, obtained after the Bachelorโ€™s degree was conferred, at least two years of which include supervision of professional staff and budget or fiscal management.

โ€ข A minimum of three yearsโ€™ executive leadership experience at an IDD or child welfare organization.


Preferred Qualifications

โ€ข Three or more years in executive level business management that includes demonstrated successful business sustainability.

โ€ข Three or more years of collaboration with a CFO on budgets and financial planning.

โ€ข Experience planning, facilitating and leading Board of Directors meetings.

ยท Provide executive oversight for all agency divisions and programs.

ยท Serve as the organizationโ€™s representative to the Board, employees, clients, government partners, and community stakeholders.

ยท Ensure effective implementation of Board directives, decisions, and policies.

ยท Lead the Executive Leadership Team in evaluating program expansion and strategic initiatives.

ยท Ensure compliance with Home Care Agency (HCA) regulations and uphold high-quality patient care standards.

ยท Lead all organizational strategic planning efforts.

ยท Directly supervise Executive Directors and designated program leaders.

ยท Develop, monitor, and revise the annual budget in partnership with the CFO; ensure adherence to Board-approved financial plans.

ยท Build and maintain relationships with funding organizations; stay informed on political, regulatory, and funding developments.

ยท Execute contracts on behalf of the organization.

ยท Oversee development and implementation of policies related to programs, personnel, and operations.
