Impactful Work: Your contributions will be pivotal in designing and optimizing defense systems that ensure national security and shape the future of space defense. • Provide launch service (LS) project management and systems engineering for Rocket Systems Launch Program (RSLP) launch services in support of the Space Systems Command (SSC). • Support the development and coordination of contract requirements documents, action items lists, presentation materials and decision briefings. • Assess and document project budget, cost accounting and schedules to meet customer objectives. • Coordinate actions with multiple mission partners from DoD agencies and commercial industry. • Facilitate and support integrated product teams, program management reviews, design & readiness reviews, technical interchange meetings and working groups. • Ensure proper application of National, DoD. USAF, USSF and SSC policies. Prepare compliance documentation and assist in deviation and waiver processes. • Identify potential cost/schedule/performance risks, mission impacts and mitigation strategies. • Coordinate reviews of design documents & monitoring of system tests for requirements verification. • Coordinate launch campaign activities to include site preparation and facility support requirements. Required Skills: Active DoD Secret clearance, US Citizen. • Bachelor's degree in Project Mgmt, Technical Mgmt, Systems Engineering or equivalent area. • 5 years relevant experience with Space Systems Command or DoD/NASA/Commercial equivalent. • Ability to provide leadership & management of multi-functional missions in a rapidly changing environment with multiple deadlines & deliverables; ability to clearly articulate ideas and recommendations. • Proficiency with MS Office suite - specifically Teams, Word, Excel & PowerPoint. • Detail oriented with ability to organize, prioritize, & address multi-program schedules simultaneously. • Strong interpersonal, communication (oral and written) and presentation skills. Desired Skills: • Active DoD TS with SCI eligibility. • Master's Degree in relevant education requirement (includes MBA w/ relevant technical experience). • 10 years prior launch/missile enlisted experience may be substituted for education requirement. • Prior Launch, Missile or Space Operational experience. • Proficiency in the Comprehensive Cost and Requirement System (CCaR), MS Project or and/or Confluence/Jira.
