Plastic Surgeon/Cosmetic Surgeon -  Houston, TX
Employment Type: Part-Time (20 to 24 hours per week)
Start Date: STAT (Immediate)
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Plastic Surgeon to join our team on a part-time, contract basis. In this dynamic role, you will primarily perform liposuction procedures with an emphasis on both aesthetic and reconstructive outcomes. All procedures are performed under local anesthesia while the patient remains awake. This is a great opportunity for a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon or Cosmetic Surgeon with at least three years of experience who is looking to contribute their expertise in a flexible, high-volume setting.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Workload:
  • Perform an average of 3 liposuction cases per day, with a focus on both larger and smaller procedures.
  • 2 long cases: Liposuction with fat transfer.
  • 1 small case: Procedures such as chin liposuction.
Schedule:
  • Work on 3 fixed days per week, providing a predictable and stable routine.
  • No on-call dutiesweekend rotations, or shift differentials are required.
Patient Care:
  • Confidently manage procedures using local anesthesia, ensuring patients remain awake and comfortable throughout the process.
  • Maintain premium standards of patient safety, care, and satisfaction throughout each procedure.
Qualifications
Certification:
  • Board Certification in Plastic Surgery with a minimum of 3 years of experience or
  • Cosmetic Surgery experience with demonstrated expertise.
Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in performing liposuction procedures, including liposuction with fat transfer and smaller procedures like chin liposuction.
  • Proficiency in working with patients under local anesthesia, ensuring they are comfortable and informed throughout each procedure.
