We're seeking an experienced Plastic Surgeon for a locum opportunity in Des Moines, Iowa, supporting a busy surgical practice with trauma call, reconstructive procedures, and clinic coverage.

Schedule
Full-time coverage needed
Flexible scheduling options available:
• 7 on / 7 off
• 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Clinic Hours: Monday - Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
36 patient contact hours weekly
2-4 OR/procedure days per week
Call rotation includes trauma call, clinic call, and EMTALA coverage
Must be ready for call-only coverage by July 10
Practice Environment
Inpatient responsibilities at multiple medical centers
1 Physician and 1 APP in practice
No APP supervision required
1:1 nursing support
Onsite imaging, lab, and pharmacy services available
Average clinic volume: 16+ patients daily
Adult and pediatric cosmetic and surgical patient population
Teaching opportunities available
Clinical Responsibilities
Trauma call coverage
ER consults
In-office consults and procedures
Reconstructive collaboration with breast surgeons
Cosmetic and reconstructive surgery patient management
