The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for creating, maintaining, and tracking statuses of work orders, purchase orders, and transfer orders with our vendors and freight forwarders. In this role, you will build and maintain adequate relationships with our primary, secondary, and finished good suppliers to help ensure we hit our on-hand inventory targets. Additionally, you will help quote, schedule, and document transportation of supplier shipments internationally. Your attention to detail and clear effective communication will be key to your success in this role.
WHAT YOU DO:
  • Issue and maintain the entire lifecycle of work orders, purchase orders, and transfer orders in NetSuite.
  • Maintain PO and TO statuses, dispatch date, ETA, QTY, price, etc. and ensure all information reflects reality and is up to date systematically.
  • Obtain commercial invoice and packing lists to receive and build WOs/POs once items are ready for dispatch/pick-up at contract manufacturers.
  • Obtain freight quotes, book, and schedule shipments for pick-up and delivery of components, WIPs, and finished goods. Ensure components are where they need to be at the right time.
  • Update and distribute Open Order and Transfer Order reports to vendors and cross functional teams within Operations.
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships by driving weekly vendor OOR calls and working with external partners to understand, support resolution, and/or communicate changes in production priority.
  • Review vulnerable/at-risk/out of stock SKUs and ensure POs are expedited accordingly.
  • Download extracts from ERP & WMS to provide open orders, BOM details, on-hand, in-transit inventory, etc. for each vendor.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for any supply issues that may arise (delays, out of spec material, constraints, etc.), understanding the issue in detail and proactively providing potential solutions

YOU'LL LOVE THIS JOB IF:
  • You are extremely ORGANIZED: You are not overwhelmed by the thought of tracking multiple transactions at a time. You take pride in your ability to present data clearly, and update excel models, order reports and ERP systems to show latest progress for material delivery.
  • You are DETAIL ORIENTED: You appreciate the importance of having detailed and precise information. You understand that you're at the ground level ensuring the right product is delivered on-time and in-full.
  • You are a strong COMMUNICATOR: You are a people person, natural leader and collaborate well with others. You maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including product development, project management, warehousing/distribution, contract manufacturers, and packaging suppliers.
  • You are AGILE: You adapt well to changing needs and priorities and are able to pivot easily to achieve goals and deadlines. You aren't satisfied with the first answer. Instead, you like to give a primary answer, but also run analyses on various scenarios as a matter of habit.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain related roles.
  • Must possess excellent organizational and prioritization skills with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment and can handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience working with NetSuite (ERP), intermediate Excel skills
  • Foundational knowledge of Logistics required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must be able to work from the office at least 60% of the time.
