Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Corrugated Press Machine Operator to join our production team. This critical role is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and operating corrugated presses to ensure efficient and high-quality production. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and a strong team player who can work collaboratively to maintain smooth production operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Machine Setup & Operation:
  • Set up machines for production cycles, including calibration, cleaning, and adjustments.
  • Control and adjust machine settings such as speed and feed rates to optimize efficiency.
  • Direct and collaborate with the machine Feeders and Stackers to ensure safe and consistent operations.

Production Quality & Troubleshooting:

  • Inspect products using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures, etc.) to maintain quality standards.
  • Monitor machine performance, identify issues, and perform basic troubleshooting and repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct periodic operational tests to ensure proper machine function.
  • Keep accurate records of approved and defective units or final products.

Safety & Compliance:

  • Follow all company safety rules, protocols, and procedures to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Wear and properly use all required personal protective equipment (PPE).


Workplace Maintenance & Documentation:

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
  • Log daily activities, maintenance actions, and production output.
  • Assist with other production duties as needed to support overall staffing and operational needs.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience:
  • 1+ years of experience as a Corrugated Press Machine Operator (Preferred).
  • 1+ years of experience working with corrugated materials (Preferred).
  • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (Preferred).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Working knowledge of high-speed machinery and measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures, etc.).
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and machine manuals.
  • Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and fix machine issues.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Comfortable working in noisy environments and variable conditions.
  • Strong physical stamina and dexterity to operate machinery safely.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and extended shifts as needed
  • Additional Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
