Description The Department of Community Corrections and Rehabilitation (DOCCR) is seeking a Corrections Program Manager for the Adult Specialized Supervision Services division. This role oversees the Intensive Supervised Release, Enhanced Supervised Release, and Supervised Release units. The position requires strong, ongoing collaboration with the Minnesota Department of Corrections DOC.

The Corrections Program Manager will ensure alignment with departmental policies and support continuous improvement in service delivery. Location and hours: This position is hybrid and will be performed on-site primarily at the Brookdale Division II Court, 6125 Shingle Creek Parkway, Brooklyn Center, MN 55430, at other DOCCR locations, and remote as job duties require. Work hours are primarily Monday through Friday, 8 a.m

to 4:30 p.m. While this position is designated as hybrid, based on current requirements hires must reside in or relocate to Minnesota or Wisconsin. About the position type: This position is full-time, benefit earning

Click here to view the job classification specification. You must attach a resume as part of your application materials. In this position, you will: Manage programs designed to improve stability of clients and remove barriers to increase success of our clients in the community.

Provide direct oversite and development of policy and procedures in alignment with DOC requirements. Design and direct probation/parole and practices and procedures with respect to casework, group work, and other client centered services. Manage and execute division Evidence Based Practices (EBP) in the interest of the clients and communities we serve that support the DOCCR's continuous improvement efforts.

Participate and lead as a manager of the Adult Specialized Supervision Services division. Supervise and manage staff. Participate in the selection process for new hires and promotional opportunities.

Direct supervisors and staff in the absence of the Division Manager. Provide leadership to further department-based strategies that align with county goals, mission and core values for diversity, equity & inclusion. Need to have: One of the following: Eight years or more of professional experience in corrections and at least one year of which must have been in administration or supervision.

Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, behavioral/social science or business, correctional or public administration or equivalent and four years or more professional experience in corrections, with at least one year in administration or supervision. Master's degree or higher in criminal justice, behavioral/social science or business, correctional or public administration or equivalent and three years or more of professional experience in corrections. Nice to have: Experience: Assessing and developing effective evidence-based programs.

Working in collaboration with the Minnesota Department of Corrections. Utilizing the Minnesota Department of Corrections policies, procedures, and processes. Knowledge of evidence-based practices for effective correctional use.

Ability to: Develop programs and procedures. Design and implement administrative methods and techniques. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Identify and collaborate with community resources. Motivate, train, and supervise direct reports. Manage change and handle conflict.
