The Role We Want You For

As a Corporate Recruiter, you will lead full-cycle recruiting with a strong focus on attracting top talent across our architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) disciplines. You will provide guidance, support, and coordination to ensure consistent and effective recruiting practices across the Talent Management Recruiting team.

This role requires a recruiter who understands the nuances of design, technical, and construction talent—including architects, engineers, and construction professionals—and can proactively identify, engage, and close highly sought-after, often passive candidates.

You will manage candidates through every stage of the hiring process while serving as a strategic partner to hiring managers and enterprise leaders. As one of the first points of contact for potential employees, you will play a critical role in shaping the candidate experience and representing Clayco’s brand in the market.

This is a highly visible, on-site role that partners closely with leadership to support the continued growth.

The Specifics of the Role

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for architecture, engineering, and construction roles
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand technical and operational hiring needs
  • Proactively source and engage passive talent across AEC markets
  • Build and maintain pipelines of high-quality candidates
  • Recruit for roles such as architects, designers, engineers project managers, and field professionals
  • Schedule interviews and manage the candidate experience end-to-end
  • Create and post job descriptions tailored to target talent pools
  • Manage applicant tracking system and recruiting databases
  • Conduct candidate screenings and coordinate interview processes
  • Conduct reference checks and support offer development
  • Coordinate candidate travel when needed
  • Participate in onboarding and new hire orientation
  • Support college recruiting initiatives

Requirements

  • 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong emphasis on architecture, engineering, and/or construction roles
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Human Resource Management, Business, or related major
  • Strong understanding of AEC talent markets and competitive landscape
  • Strong ability to source and engage passive candidates in competitive markets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems
  • Proven history of conducting effective and proactive recruiting efforts.
  • Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to travel for events and campus recruiting as needed
