Corporate Safety Manager On-site Role


The Corporate Safety Manager will be responsible for maintaining the safety culture of the plants and ensuring compliance to OSHA standards.


Job Duties:


  • Corporate Safety Manager will develop policies and procedures for the safety programs in our plants .
  • Supervising the implementation of safety control procedures.
  • Conducting audits to ensure that the plants meet Schuetz and legal compliance.
  • Ensuring procedures are properly understood and carried out
  • Investigating accidents and solving problems related to safety at the plants .
  • Preparing reports, records, and other required documents and paperwork.
  • Promoting safety achievement and performance improvement throughout the plants.
  • Setting safety compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved.
  • Constantly monitoring and advising on safety performance of the plants and staff.
  • Participating in and preparing for internal and external audits.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of OSHA requirements and ensuring compliance in the plant.
  • Creating, planning, preparing, and conducting informal on-the-job training as well as classroom trainings with employees for safety issues.
  • Finding best practices and helping implement them in the plants.
  • Reviewing safety performance with the parent company Schuetz Selters, Germany.
  • other duties as assigned.
