SUMMARY

Responsible for continuous collaboration with the team by interacting with internal claim managers, business associates, and brokers; along with outside counsel and third parties. This position is an integral part of the Corporate Risk Management Department in both a technical and operational side of the organization. Duties may include claims reporting and analysis, data analysis and collection, contract reviews and negotiations, large corporate insurance program administration that will include: budgeting, policy summary and language comparison reviews, and other needs as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyzes and compares current exposures and can develop renewal specifications for marketing.
Identifies and proactively addresses year over year changes in underwriting data, general data calculations, and claim values
Collaborates with Claim Managers on claims management, claim reviews, and overall claim communication.
Advises on total cost of risk for insurance premiums, and claims.
Analyzes and Advises on the insurance renewal process, marketing results, and renewal strategies.
Coordinates directly with Claims Managers, Legal and Business teams to ensure timely handling of DOI's and Subpoena's.
Performs reviews and negotiations on: client contracts, RFP request, and Vendor Selection.
Analyzes financial statements.
Collaborates with multiple internal departments, business leaders, brokers and underwriters.
Identifies problems and proactively problem solves.
Provides instruction and training as needed for team members.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience
Three (3) or more years of Experience collaborating with corporate departments, clients, attorneys, and carriers
Five (5) or more years of Experience with insurance procurement, placement or insurance risk management
Five (5) or more years of Strong property & casualty background, employee benefits, and/or agency operations
Three (3) or more years of Experience with claim management software, or database management
Experience with Corporate Risk Management Information System (RMIS) data standards, design, reports and data integrity.
Property Casualty Insurance Licenses, Associate in Risk Management, Certified Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)

Strong analytical and quantitative skills
