The Quality, Compliance, and Risk Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining quality management processes, compliance oversight, and enterprise risk management frameworks supporting programs for the Department of Defense Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO). This role ensures program delivery aligns with federal regulations, cybersecurity requirements, contractual obligations, and organizational quality standards.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement program quality management frameworks and performance monitoring processes.
  • Establish compliance controls to ensure adherence to federal regulations, DoD policies, and contract requirements.
  • Lead risk management activities including risk identification, mitigation planning, and monitoring.
  • Coordinate internal audits, compliance reviews, and quality assurance assessments.
  • Maintain quality documentation, performance metrics, and compliance reporting.
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives across program operations.
  • Collaborate with program leadership to identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Provide risk and compliance briefings to senior program leadership.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience supporting quality assurance, compliance management, or risk management for federal or DoD programs.
    • Experience supporting programs with cybersecurity, data, or enterprise IT environments.
    • Experience with governance frameworks, program audits, and compliance monitoring.
  • Active Secret security clearance required (or higher).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to work on site 5 days a week
  • Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting
  • Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals
  • Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.
  • Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, and previous customer service experience strongly desired.
  • Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it
