Job description


Corporate Insurance and Risk Management Analyst will be primarily responsible for supporting the corporate insurance and risk management function with additional ad hoc support for the other functions within the Global Treasury unit. Critical factors to success include ability to work effectively across all levels both internally and externally, strong organizational, analytical and attention to detail skillsets, and willingness/desire to learn and develop in a dynamic environment.
The position reports directly to the Director, Corporate Insurance & Risk Management. Primary responsibilities include:
  • Assist with collection and analysis of underwriting information incl. loss data, independently prepare submissions and complete applications for renewals of Chubb's Corporate Insurance Program.
  • Assist with implementation of Chubb's Global programs, incl. communication with local offices, policy review, local certificates of insurance, anti-money laundering documentation, etc.
  • Keep abreast of new exposures of the organization, explore potential coverage with broker partners and communicate appropriately to the business about whether coverage exists under current insurance programs. Explain applicable deductibles and/or retentions and the potential financial risk to the business if necessary.
  • Review vendor contracts and lease agreements to ensure compliance with Chubb's internal risk management guidelines/policies.
  • Verify receipt and accuracy of coverage binders, policies, endorsements, and all other coverage documentation within established specifications. Tracks and monitors timely completion of policy delivery, corrections, and necessary changes by brokers / insurers.
  • Update summaries/schedules of insurance + distribute internally as appropriate.
  • Manage the administrative payment function of all invoicing (central & local); aid in managing the global insurance budget, cost allocation & collection to/from local Chubb offices.
  • Complete annual Surveys of Occupational Injuries and Illnesses as requested by Bureau of Labor Statistics.
  • Assist with reporting & administration of P&C claims related to Corporate Insurance programs.
  • Assist with administration of Chubb's monopolistic WC programs incl. coordination with Chubb payroll to ensure timely reporting and assistance with claims reporting.
  • Process all certificate of insurance requests and manage Chubb's certificates of insurance process.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance, or a related discipline
  • 2-3 years of experience in a corporate risk management environment, underwriting or brokerage experience handling global accounts or equivalent
  • Professional certifications in risk management or insurance (e.g., ARM, CPCU) are a plus.
  • Strong communication, written, and analytical skills.
