Job description

Position Overview: *Upcoming site relocation to Aurora, OH*

The Nutrition and Culinary Manager (Registered Dietitian) is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of nutrition and culinary services, food budget, performance management, staffing, training, and development of the nutrition and culinary team at their assigned location.

Schedule:

  • Full Time, 1.0 FTE ( 40hrs/week), general schedule of Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.
  • Monthly weekend on-call rotation required 

Compensation Disclosure:

  • Nutrition and Culinary Manager: Starting salary range between $85,000-100,000

Final Compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for the position

How Nutrition and Culinary Managers Empower Recovery:

  • Oversees the accurate and appropriate delivery of evidence-based, corporate, and industry best-practice nutrition and culinary services at assigned location.
  • Promotes client adequate nutrition state and eating competency.
  • Participates as a member of site leadership (at assigned locations) and corporate nutrition leadership teams.
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders in the identification, development, implementation, and/or evaluation of initiatives, policies, and procedures, as assigned/requested.
  • Manages hiring, and training of nutrition and culinary team members
  • Supervises nutrition and culinary team members
  • Orchestrates coverage needs for direct reports and provides coverage for sessions and/or programming, as needed.
  • Maintains clinical caseload in accordance with the Registered Dietitian job description.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Commission on Dietetic Registration - Registered Dietitian credentials required.
  • ServSafe Certified Food Manager certification required within 30 days of hire
  • Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
  • First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
  • 3 yrs Registered Dietitian experience preferred
  • 6+ Months Leadership experience in Nutrition field preferred.
  • Food service experience preferred.
