  • Provide accurate, cost‑effective and timely legal support to the organization including managing risks, conducting investigations and resolving pre‑litigation disputes in‑house
  • Research legal issues impacting the organization by identifying applicable statutes, judicial decisions, and codes
  • Responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts and the contract review process, including NDAs, service agreements, vendor and supply agreements, subcontracts, purchase agreements, and financing documents
  • Collaborate with, and closely and efficiently manage outside legal counsel and outside vendors in various legal matters
  • Other tasks, including administrative, that may be assigned
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
  • Active Florida bar license, or ability to obtain authorized house counsel
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a lawyer, with at least 3+ years related to litigation, labor and employment litigation preferred
  • Well‑rounded in‑house counsel experience with working directly with business decisionmakers
  • Impeccable attention to detail and pride in one’s work product
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex legal concepts into actionable business terms to elicit well‑informed business decisions
  • Comfortable spotting issues and escalating to the team when necessary
  • Outstanding writing, research, negotiating, interpersonal, and organizational skills
