  • Coordinate client outreach, staffing, inventory, hospitality, floor flow, operational details, and post-event follow-up

  • Lead event execution and manage corporate gifting and sales opportunities from consultation through fulfillment and aftercare

Team Leadership & Development
  • Serve as the Store Director's key business partner and lead the Maison in the Store Director's absence or while the Store Director is supporting East Hampton

  • Motivate and coach the team through visible floor leadership, daily briefings, timely feedback, recognition, and accountability

  • Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and development across product knowledge, selling skills, service standards, and performance

  • Partner with the Store Director on performance management and development planning, escalating employee concerns to Human Resources when appropriate

Store Operations & Merchandising
  • Oversee daily operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, loss prevention, and adherence to company policies

  • Support inventory management, replenishment, product allocation, stock optimization, and readiness for events and corporate orders

  • Partner with the Store Director on scheduling, payroll, and coverage for daily business, peak periods, and events

  • Execute visual merchandising strategies and maintain a pristine, organized, and brand-aligned Maison environment

Brand Stewardship, Communication & Multi-Boutique Support
  • Embody Diptyque's values through professional presence, product expertise, storytelling, and client and colleague interactions

  • Communicate business and brand priorities clearly, maintain close alignment with the Store Director across both boutiques, and support East Hampton as needed

Safety & Confidentiality
  • Protect confidential company, employee, client, and corporate account information

  • Support safety, emergency, and data privacy requirements, and partner with leadership and Human Resources to maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace

Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of progressive retail management experience, preferably in luxury, beauty, fragrance, or hospitality; flagship or high-volume experience strongly preferred

  • Strong understanding of retail KPIs and ability to translate business insights into action plans

  • Experience supporting client events, brand activations, corporate gifting, or corporate sales preferred

  • Proven ability to coach teams, manage performance, and deliver exceptional client experiences

  • Excellent communication, organization, judgment, and time management skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with point-of-sale, CRM, scheduling, and reporting systems

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events, and to support East Hampton as business needs require
