To thrive as a Corporate Finance Intern, you need a foundational understanding of financial analysis, accounting principles, and proficiency in Excel, often supported by ongoing studies in finance, accounting, or a related field. Familiarity with financial modeling tools, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and possibly Bloomberg Terminal or similar platforms is valuable. Attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication help interns excel in collaborative, deadline-driven environments. These skills are crucial for delivering accurate financial insights and supporting strategic business decisions within the company.
