StretchLab is seeking Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, and related graduates who want to turn their education in human movement into meaningful one-on-one client experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates who want a hands-on role rather than a desk job or group fitness position. As a StretchLab Flexologist™, you'll apply your knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and movement while receiving extensive additional training in assisted stretching.
StretchLab is the industry leader in evidence-based one-on-one assisted stretching. Our Flexologists are movement professionals who complete the Flexologist Training Program™-the only nationally accredited certificate program in assisted stretching
Our sessions primarily incorporate PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) techniques to help clients improve flexibility, mobility, and range of motion.
What You'll Do
  • Provide one-on-one assisted stretch sessions to clients of different ages and activity levels.
  • Apply your academic knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology, biomechanics, and movement in a practical setting.
  • Learn to identify mobility and flexibility limitations and follow individualized stretching programs.
  • Coach and educate clients about movement, flexibility, and mobility.
  • Develop confidence working hands-on and one-on-one with clients.
  • Build ongoing client relationships and encourage consistency.
  • Document client sessions and progress.
  • Schedule recurring appointments and support continuity of client care.
  • Participate in ongoing education, staff meetings, first visits, and occasional community events.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, Exercise Physiology, Human Performance, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and human movement.
  • Comfortable learning hands-on techniques and working closely with clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Genuine passion for movement, mobility, fitness, and helping people improve their quality of life.
  • Professional, reliable, and eager to continue learning.
  • Ability to successfully complete StretchLab's Flexologist Training Program™, including online education, a two-day workshop, and practical training.

Having someone with years of experience read your body, assess your needs and make sure that you have been thoroughly, expertly stretched is an experience like no other. To push you further than you can push yourself and open you up in ways that you just can't do on your own. Stretching is really good for you.
