About the Firm

Our firm maintains a broad practice spanning Business and Corporate Law, Real Estate Law, Administrative Law, Trusts and Estate Planning, and Civil and Business Litigation — including a robust Insurance Defense practice.
We offer a collegial, professional environment where associates receive meaningful mentorship, hands-on courtroom experience, and genuine growth opportunities. If you are looking for a firm where your work matters and your development is prioritized, we want to hear from you.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our litigation team, focused primarily on Insurance Defense and Civil Litigation. New admittees with strong litigation internship or clerkship experience are welcome to apply — we value potential as much as tenure.
The ideal candidate is an independent thinker who communicates clearly, manages their docket proactively, and is eager to develop their skills alongside experienced trial attorneys across a variety of matters.

Firm Practice Areas
  • Business & Corporate Law
  • Real Estate Law
  • Administrative Law
  • Trusts & Estate Planning

Primary Responsibilities

  • Handle insurance defense matters, including personal injury, premises liability, automobile accidents, and general liability
  • Draft and respond to written discovery, motions, and pleadings
  • Conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
  • Appear at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
  • Communicate effectively with insurance carrier clients and claims adjusters regarding case strategy and reserve recommendations
  • Conduct legal research and prepare case evaluations and status reports
  • Manage litigation deadlines and maintain accurate billing records in case management software
  • Collaborate with partners and senior associates on litigation strategy

Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active Nevada law license — or eligibility to sit for the Nevada Bar (new admittees welcome)
  • Experience in insurance defense, civil litigation, or a related litigation internship/clerkship
  • Familiarity with depositions, written discovery, and motion practice
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a high-volume caseload
  • Proficiency with legal practice management software (Clio experience a plus)
  • Collaborative mindset and team-oriented work style

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience appearing in Nevada state and federal courts
  • Familiarity with Nevada insurance regulations and coverage issues
  • Prior clerkship or internship with an insurance defense or civil litigation firm

  • Base salary of $95,000–$130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Paid time off and firm holidays
  • Professional development and mentorship opportunities

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. We encourage early submission. Only candidates selected for interviews will be contacted.
