Job description

Trussville Animal Hospital is a family-owned, non-corporate veterinary hospital located in the wonderful community of Trussville, Alabama. We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, and team-oriented Associate Veterinarian to join our growing practice. We will consider a candidtae that is looking for FT or PT hours.

We pride ourselves on creating a positive, happy work environment with great camaraderie and a supportive team atmosphere. We believe that practicing excellent veterinary medicine should be rewarding both professionally and personally.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a veterinarian who:

  • Enjoys building strong relationships with clients and communicating with them in a friendly, positive, and compassionate manner.
  • Takes pride in educating clients about preventative wellness, nutrition, therapeutics, and appropriate medical and preventive procedures.
  • Has strong clinical, medical, and surgical skills.
  • Enjoys discussing and rounding on cases with other doctors and collaborating as part of a team.
  • Is an excellent communicator who can explain medical recommendations clearly and confidently.
  • Is an positive, dependable team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
  • Is passionate about providing high-quality medicine while creating a positive experience for both clients and their pets.
