Job description

Corporate Accounting Associate | Private Markets Investment Manager | New York | $125,000 – $140,000

Corporate Accounting Associate | Private Markets Investment Manager | New York | $125,000 – $140,000

We're working with a fast-growing, SEC-registered investment manager with approximately $2B AUM focused on clean energy infrastructure. The firm operates through closed-end private fund structures and has built a strong track record since inception. This is a lean, high-performing team where your work is visible and your impact is real.

They're adding a Corporate Accounting Associate to own the managementcompanybooks. This is a hands-on role sitting at the intersection of ManCo accounting, fund operations, and FP&A — reporting directly to the Director of Finance.

What you'll own:

Monthly close including journal entries, cash reconciliations, and capital account allocations. Year-end audit coordination with external auditors. FP&A support including budget-to-actual analysis for senior leadership. Vendor payment management across ManCo and fund expenses. Chargeback coordination with the fund accounting team. Support on regulatory filings and tax reporting.

What we're looking for:

3–4 years of corporate accounting experience at a private equity, hedge fund, or investment manager - or public accounting experience with fund clients. CPA required. Prior audit coordination experience is a must. Strong Excel skills and comfort in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Someone who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and can present financial results to senior stakeholders.

Why this one is worth a look:

Clean energy is one of the most active spaces in private markets right now. This firm has real momentum, a senior and experienced leadership team, and a genuine culture of collaboration. If you want to move from a larger, more siloed environment into something where you're close to the business and the people making decisions, this is it.

Base up to $140,000 depending on experience. New York based.
